Gordon Hayward Pays Tribute to Kobe Bryant With Customized Shoe

A little under a week ago, it marked one year since the world lost Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, and Ara Zobayan.

One of the players that deeply inspired Kobe while playing against him in the league is Gordon Hayward.

Hayward was seen hooping in a custom edition shoe of his Anta Hayward 2s over the past week which feature #24 on the heel & “Remember” across the midfoot. The laces also include Kobe Bryant's message he gave to Hayward after his horrible injury that says: "You see the belief within you grow with each mini-milestone, and you will come back a better player for it. Best of luck to you on this journey my brother #mambamentality always.”

This is just flat out awesome by Hayward who faced Bryant in his last night ever playing in the NBA when he dropped 60 points.
