I’m drinking the Kool-Aid that Derek Carr is readily available and could be traded, but I will flatly reject the idea that he is a ‘hot commodity.’ Carr is a ‘serviceable’ quarterback and I have him planted in the mid-tier. He’s right in the middle of the bell curve. He’s in that ‘middling’ class with Kirk Cousins, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Matthew Stafford. They are JAGS, but not Jacksonville Jags, we’re talking about J-A-G, JUST ANOTHER GUY. He’s very average in almost every way and unremarkable.
