Outkick Was Correct Last Week About Andrew Luck Rumors Catching Fire

Last week, Clay Travis had multiple segments on Outkick where he believed Andrew Luck coming out of early retirement would make a lot of sense and could happen. That was in response to quotes from Indianapolis Colts' owner Jim Irsay, stating that his team would obviously love to have Luck return at quarterback. A lot of media paid no mind to Irsay's pleasant comments.

One week later, internet rumors involving Luck and a possible return to Indy have caught fire. On top of Irsay's invitation, there are now screenshots of text messages that would leave one to believe that the comeback may not be a total long shot. It's hard to fully trust anything you see on the internet, but this entire scenario makes a ton of sense according to Clay.

Philip Rivers retired, yet the Colts didn't go all-in on acquiring Matthew Stafford. Indy also has a great roster, and more importantly, a fantastic offensive line. Why wouldn't Andrew Luck consider playing again with all the pieces he would now be surrounded with?

Clay brings in the Outkick crew to see if they are buying into the possibility of Andrew Luck making a comeback to the NFL and the Colts. It would be one of the greatest comeback stories indeed if it does end up happening.
