Tom Brady Says the Buccaneers Will Be Even Better Next Season

Colin Cowherd: “Tom Brady was asked a question before the Super Bowl and he said ‘Yeah, I think we’re going to be way better NEXT year.’ He’s not quitting… He had a new offense for the first time in 20 years with no training camp. Leonard Fournette got there right before the season, Antonio Brown got there right during the season, and Tristan Wirfs with no preseason was a rookie at right tackle. The schedule is much easier. Remember, they’re a Wild Card team, they don’t play a number one schedule. No Kansas City Chiefs, no Packers, and they face the NFC East. Every quarterback is better in their second year in a system. Green Bay and Seattle are two of their biggest obstacles. Matt Stafford is now in Seattle’s division twice a year, and Kyler Murray is getting better, so Seattle’s road is tougher. Green Bay has a number one schedule and got a bad break – they face the NFC West and the AFC North. It’s very likely Tampa will be a number one seed, and this morning all of you would acknowledge that they’re going to win the division. I know all you Brady haters will hate this, but he signed a two-year deal and they’re a MILE ahead of where we thought they would be. They’re ahead of the plan and are one of four and maybe three rosters in the NFL that doesn’t have a hole. They’re literally at a surplus of talent at key positions. They don’t have a need.” (Full Video Above)
