Fans Don't Care About College Basketball Until NCAA Tournament Begins

Listen to Chris Broussard explain why he thinks college basketball has become simply a ‘three-week sport’, where the entire season is being played out in obscurity until the brackets come out and fans suddenly show interest in the sport.

A lot has been said about the difficulty of filling out a bracket this season as the COVID-19 pandemic has seemingly knocked out much of the usual interest in college basketball, and has left basketball fans with a limited sense of who the good teams and good players are this year.

With the popularity of bracket challenges, Chris thinks fans are starting to discount the regular season because they know the show will officially begin once March Madness begins, and thus skip following the sport in November and through February.

Check out the segment above as Chris and Rob Parker explain why they believe ‘nobody cares’ about college basketball before March.
