Colin Cowherd Clowns Bears For Twitter Post Naming Andy Dalton Starting QB

Colin Cowherd: “The Bears don’t know what they’re doing. They are totally tone-deaf. They went out and put ‘Andy Dalton, Quarterback 1’ on their Twitter account. This is ridiculous for a lot of reasons. We know they pursued Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson, and Jameis Winston. We know they pursued other quarterbacks, and we know Andy Dalton was NOT their first choice. Everybody knows that and Chicago knows that. To trump this on social media is tone-deaf. This was an organization who kept telling us how much they loved Mitch Trubiksy and then bailed on him the minute they could… Matt Nagy needs to ESCAPE Chicago because I think he can coach, and do an Andy Dufresne from 'Shawshank Redemption', get in a tunnel, and just leave the grounds. You’ve heard of ‘Escape from Alcatraz’, Matt Nagy -- ESCAPE FROM CHICAGO. He’s trapped and I feel bad for him, I think he’s a really good coach… This team is really bad at the ‘optics.’ This is a team who spent a lot of money on Mike Glennon, invited him to their draft party, and then at the party moved up to draft Mitch Trubisky.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd clown the Chicago Bears for their cringe-worthy social media post on Wednesday that anointed the recently signed former Cowboys backup Andy Dalton as their ‘QB1’, as a franchise who was once rumored to be in the running for superstars Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson settled for the derided ‘Red Rifle.’

Check out the video above as Colin calls the tweet ‘tone-deaf’ and details why he thinks head coach Matt Nagy needs to escape from Dodge ASAP.
