The NFL Draft will begin with the first round in exactly 2 weeks from tonight, and with the first and second picks already essentially locked in, all the drama at the top of the board has to do with what the 49ers are going to do with the 3rd pick, and what the Falcons want to do with the 4th selection.
Clay Travis is joined by Albert Breer to discuss those two teams and where their heads are at as we are 14 days away from those big decisions being made.
For the 49ers, Breer was on the train of thought that it would be Alabama's Mac Jones, but recently he has begun to question that. It could be Jones, but it also very well could be Justin Fields, or even Trey Lance. The 49ers made this trade up to the 3rd pick with enough time to do their homework on all 3 guys, and they will be able to make the choice that they see is best for their franchise.
The Falcons have the 4th pick. Clay is of the belief that that the Falcons are going to take tight end Kyle Pitts, and Breer believes that selection could make a ton of sense. From what Breer has seen and heard, it seems like the Falcons are strongly considering rolling with Matt Ryan, but they still have been doing something else that makes things interesting.
