Jason Whitlock Calls Brian Flores a 'Snitch' Amid Lawsuit vs. the NFL

Jason Whitlock: “Somebody needs to ask Brian Flores ‘do you think you’ve been disloyal to Bill Belichick here in any way?’ Do you think putting Bill Belichick in the crosshairs is fair to Bill Belichick? If he carries on with his lawsuit and there are depositions, and the NFL starts asking for access to Bill Belichick’s phone records and text message…Brian Flores, no one has a problem with any of this? Whatever went on between Brian Flores and Stephen Ross, wanting to tank games, and the guy offering you $100,000 a game for losing...a lot of people would call that ‘snitching.’ We're all good with this kind of snitching I guess because it potentially harms a White person so that’s ‘good’ snitching. Brian Flores does not look like a good leader of men in any of this. Brian Flores is a snitch. It’s pretty reprehensible what he’s done to Bill Belichick in this scenario. Bill Belichick has him on his coaching staff, develops him up, put him in a position to become an NFL head coach, and now the very first reference in this lawsuit is a Bill Belichick text. This man is putting Belichick’s stuff out there like this, and making him the centerpiece of a lawsuit against the Giants, the NFL, the Broncos, and the Dolphins. Bill Belichick – star witness, centerpiece, and his text messages and his phone records perhaps being injected into this deal.” (Full Segment Above)

Jason Whitlock explained on his ‘Fearless’ podcast why he thinks Brian Flores should be called out for ‘betraying’ his longtime former head coach Bill Belichick, whose accidental texts to Flores about landing the Giants head coaching job became the backbone of his lawsuit against the NFL for discriminatory hiring practices.

After getting a ‘congratulations’ message from Belichick about landing the position, a further back-and-forth between Flores and Belichick showed that Belichick actually believed he was texting another head coach named Brian – Brian Daboll, the offensive coordinator for the Bills who would ultimately be named Giants head coach.

In Flores’ class action lawsuit with the NFL, Flores sites the text message with Belichick as proof of the Giants asking Flores to participate in a ‘sham’ interview later that week, despite Daboll appearing to already have a handshake agreement with the Giants -- hence why Belichick was congratulating him.

Check out the segment above as Whitlock details why he thinks Flores putting Belichick through this type of exposure – which could result in intrusive depositions involving Flores’ former mentor – paints Flores as a bad leader, and ultimately a ‘snitch’ when you add in the Stephen Ross accusations as well.
