With Matthew Stafford leading the Rams on a 4th quarter game winning drive to clinch their first Super Bowl in Los Angeles, Ben Maller thinks that Matthew Stafford should have been selected as MVP over Cooper Kupp.
Ben Maller: "Stafford can relish the fact that he was harpooned in this MVP vote by media bias. Not Russian collusion, media bias. Many a sports writer had already made their minds up on Matthew Stafford. It was written in stone: "Stafford is a bum." ...In the history of the Super Bowl, you can count on one hand and I think only one finger another QB who led a team on a game-winning Super Bowl drive, outplayed the other QB down the stretch, and didn't win the Most Valuable Player Award."
