RJ Bell: “You got two favorites from Boston in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, and five of the first seven favorites in Golden State. Couldn’t you see a scenario where Brown plays well but not amazing, Tatum plays well but not amazing, Boston winning in 7 and Steph Curry winning the MVP?"

AJ Hoffman: “Yes, I do!”

RJ: “So I do think this is a rare year!”

On today’s edition of “Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell,” RJ and AJ Hoffman discuss NBA Finals MVP odds ahead of game 1 Thursday night. Steph Curry leads the pack at +105, Jayson Tatum at +175, Jaylen Brown at 10/1 and Draymond Green at 18/1. There’s always value outside the list of favorites, but the Vegas crew believe this could be the rare year the particular favorite to win Finals MVP could come from the losing side of the series.
