The Tables Have Turned for Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns

Now that Deshaun Watson is likely facing a year-long suspension at a minimum, Baker Mayfield is being asked if there's any chance of a reconciliation. While Baker said both sides are ready to move on, he didn't completely slam the door on the idea. 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe believe Baker wants the Browns to come crawling back and would be willing to play the hero if the price was right.

Brady Quinn: "The tables have turned so much to the point where the Browns need Baker Mayfield. I'd go ask for more money. I would ask for an extension. I would say you're gonna throw another year on my deal and you're gonna pay me a big signing bonus that I get right now.
I would almost propose it as, 'Yeah, I know you've got the pockets to pay it because I've already witnessed you pay another quarterback, but now he's not going to be there. So you need to figure out a way of compensating me what I want if I'm going to come back and play for your organization. Oh by the way, after this year we're going to figure out a way of you trading me where I want to go because I'm gonna ball out and there will be greater trade demand for whatever contract we agree to."
