Here is How Colin Cowherd Reacted to the Baker Mayfield Trade

Colin Cowherd: “So Baker is going to Carolina. It wouldn’t be a shock if Sam Darnold went to Seattle because of Pete Carroll’s USC ties. Baker gets an offensive coach in Matt Rhule, you get Christian McCaffrey, they got one receiver I really like, and they got a really interesting front-seven on defense. It’s a rebuild in Carolina but he does have an offensive coach. His first coach was offensive, Kevin Stefanski is offensive, and Matt Rhule is offensive, so that’s an advantage. I would rather have a guy who gets offense. The Browns are going to pay $10.5 million of his deal so they want him out of town. It’s Jacoby Brissett and Deshaun Watson. Maybe Cleveland feels like, according to some stories over the last week, that Deshaun Watson will not be – the judge who is making the decision – will not suspend Deshaun Watson for a big chunk of time. Maybe that’s Cleveland having that intuition. Panthers are going to pay five bucks to get Baker Mayfield, why not?? I don’t think there’s a big gap between Baker and Sam Darnold, but Baker has proven to be better than Sam Darnold.” (Full Segment Above)
