Nick Wright Says These Trade Packages Would Land Jazz Star Donovan Mitchell

Nick Wright: “Miami fits perfectly [for Donovan Mitchell], I just don’t know if they have the pieces to get it done. They are constricted on what they can trade pick-wise, I certainly would not trade Bam for Donovan Mitchell… I don’t think that makes them better, and if I’m Miami and I know I have to go through Giannis every single year at some point, Bam is more valuable to me than anyone out West, so I love the fit for Miami but I don’t know if the trade can work. If I’m trading for Donovan, I need to be ‘close’ [to a title], and have a true no. 1… so who are the teams who can do that? Philly should make a phone call; Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey for Donovan Mitchell. There would be no picks, you would get the young guys in Maxey on a rookie contract who one day could be Donovan Mitchell. The other team is Memphis. Memphis does have the picks, and they could trade Jaren Jackson who makes the same money as Donovan Mitchell. Jaren Jackson plus picks. Those teams I think Donovan walks in and it’s like ‘we can win the title’, and he doesn’t have to be your no. 1 option.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Nick Wright throw out two potential trade packages that he believes would be enough to land star shooting Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz.

Check out the segment above as Wright explains why Miami might be the perfect ‘fit’ for Mitchell, but adds that the Heat might not have enough trade capital to outbid teams like the Grizzlies or 76ers.
