Wednesday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, longtime sports broadcaster and Southern California native, Petros Papadakis joins the guys to pay his respects to legendary Dodgers Broadcaster, Vin Scully, who passed away Tuesday night at the age of 94. Petros talks about the joys of knowing Vin personally, what set him apart from everyone else and what all broadcasters can learn from his life and career.

Petros Papadakis: "You're talking about a guy who knew Jackie Robinson well and was there to see that whole thing go down. And for somebody to be able to convey what it was like riding your bike around New York City on D-Day, for somebody that could be able to convey clearly, beautifully, poetically, what it was like in all these situations, whether it was just for the Dodger organization in baseball, like the death of Don Drysdale or something terrible like that, or something global and horrible, like 911, or any kind of war that we've had over the years, Scully always had the very right and most perfect tone.
There's two things that Vin Scully did that we can all learn from as broadcasters.. He was not a homer. Vin called it really straight and sometimes he was really complimentary of the opponents of the Dodgers, he just really liked certain players... And the other thing he had was timing. He had wonderful and really strong timing. And that's what broadcasters can learn from Vin Scully. Not like, 'Oh, I'm going to tell a bunch of personal stories about this guy and weave it into the broadcast.' Because nobody could do it like him. Nobody."
