Los Angeles Chargers Quarterback Justin Herbert joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show fresh off their overtime victory over the Denver Broncos last night. He confirms the reports are correct that he is, in fact, a legitimate 6’6” tall. They talk about last night’s game and Justin says they were prepared for a defensive battle. And he gives props to their kicker, Dustin Hopkins for fighting through a hamstring injury to kick the game winner. And he says he enjoys playing under the lights in prime time.

Dan Patrick: “When Dustin Hopkins comes out there for that field goal in overtime, what are you thinking when you turn it over to him and he’s injured, limping out there on one leg?”

Justin Herbert: “He’s tough. He’s incredibly tough and we’ve got so much respect for that guy and the way he shows up every day to work. He’s a professional and going through as much pain as he did, and to be able to kick like he did, there was never a doubt with him.”
