NFL owners voted 31-1 to permit their compensation committee to open negotiations on a new contract with Commissioner Roger Goodell, but not before a debate on this topic reportedly led to a heated exchange between Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Cowboy owner Jerry Jones. 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe tell you why Jerry Jones has an issue with Roger Goodell's astronomical salary.

Brady Quinn: "Jerry Jones is just asking for them to specify why exactly Roger Goodell should be getting paid so much money for his performance. Because the TV rights deals, I mean we can negotiate that fellas. That wouldn't be hard to do. It's like, 'Hey, we got the NFL, who wants it?' Everyone's coming at you, throwing hundreds of millions, billions of dollars at you. That's not that hard to negotiate. So that's what this was all about."
