Monday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox and and Brady Quinn believe Bears QB Justin Fields gives fans a lot to be hopeful for, despite their continued struggles this season.
Jonas Knox: "Bears fans today are more optimistic after a 20 point loss than they have been after some wins over the past couple of years... Justin Fields, it feels like this is headed in a direction where you gotta be really happy if you're a Bear fan or a member of that organization, knowing all the salary cap space you're gonna have coming up. You're actually gonna have a full set of draft picks. It feels like there's some optimism there and it's heading in the right direction."
Brady Quinn: "I think he's got a higher upside than some of these other quarterbacks that we're talking about going into their second and third year, he just does. His ability to run, his arm strength, his ability to create some plays, he's just probably on one of the least, if not the least talented offenses in the NFL. So it's not going to be pretty for a while until they start giving him some more help."
