The San Francisco 49ers seem to be handling the loss of Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance without a hitch as 2022 NFL Draft’s Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy stepped in at quarterback and promptly put a licking on Tom Brady and the Tamp Bay Buccaneers. Now Dan understands it’s just one game, but it will make for some interesting offseason drama, especially if they continue to be successful with Purdy at the helm.
Dan Patrick: “Look at what the Niners’ offseason quarterbacking situation is going to be, ‘cause it was Jimmy G., they’ll probably bring him back. Now he’s hurt. Trey Lance has been out the whole season. Now, he’s supposed to be the future. And then you got Brock Purdy. I know it’s one game, but that’s a big game...and then if he wins? I mean, just he added drama. I guess it’s a good kind of drama to have for the 49ers.”
