The Los Angeles Rams are in Green Bay to face the Packers tonight and while neither team has been mathematically eliminated from the NFL playoffs, itâs only a matter of time before they are making offseason vacation plans. The only compelling storyline in this game is Rams QB Baker Mayfield, which makes Dan wonder if having Mayfield on the roster is enough to keep Head Coach Sean McVay in Los Angeles. McVay has made no secret of his desire to take a job in the broadcast booth, but perhaps Baker can change his mind.
Dan Patrick: âIf Sean McVay looks at Baker Mayfield and goes, âYou know what? I think we can make this work.â Now I have a young quarterback if Matthew Stafford doesnât come back, or weâre not as dependent on Matthew Stafford coming back, but if Sean McVay thinks heâs got his quarterback, his next quarterback, I wonder if thatâs enough to keep him with the Rams.â
