Chris Broussard: “It seems like because players aren’t getting guaranteed deals this is going to affect Lamar and where he’s going. “
Rob Parker: “I totally disagree, baseball is an 11 billion dollar business, and they give players in the NFL phony contracts. When they’re done with you, you’ll never get the money that you should. They just get rid of you and never hear from them again. I’d rather NFL teams give players a 3 year contract than what they’re doing right now.”
Ephraim Salaam: “The reality of the situation is, look at baseball and basketball. Look at the problems they’re dealing with, people going on the DL for a toe nail. When you get replaced in the NFL it’s over, in other leagues they still have a shot to come back when out. You would think with the risk of injury in the NFL there would be guaranteed contracts. I understand why Jim Irsay said what he said!”

Today on The Odd Couple, Chris and Rob were joined by Ephraim Salaam regarding why NFL players aren’t getting guaranteed money right now. Rob challenges Ephraim when he takes a shot at the MLB and NBA regarding players sitting out and getting injured. The two go back and forth on the situation while Chris dives into how this affects Lamar Jackson and where he’ll end up. The crew also reacts to Indianapolis Colts Owner, Jim Irsay’s comments on the situation.
