NBA legend and Naismith Hall of Famer Charles Barkley joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. They talk about his relationship with Michael Jordan and how difficult but important it is to be objective in his role as an NBA analyst. Barkley thinks the Dallas Mavericks’ best option is to pursue a sign-and-trade deal for Kyrie Irving although Dan thinks they’ll have trouble finding anyone willing to take him. And Charles weighs in on the LIV players playing at the Masters this weekend.
Dan Patrick: “Would you sign Kyrie (Irving) if you’re Dallas?”
Charles Barkley: “Oh no...well, what’s the really good thing about it for Dallas: they got two really good options. They can let him go and take forty million dollars off the books...but the best option to me is to do a sign-and-trade because Dallas can give him the most money and some team will take Kyrie...”
