Rob Parker: “No doubt that LeBron now falls into that Tier 2. If the Lakers are going to win a championship it’s going to be on the back of Anthony Davis. LeBron no longer affects winning. He’s still putting up numbers, two years ago he averaged 30 points, but the Lakers missed the playoffs... He’s not the best guy on the Lakers if you’re trying to win a championship.”
Ephraim Salaam: “29-8-7. Would you sign up for that? Based on the criteria of the list, it says ‘if this person could be the best player on a championship team.’ The guys they have on this list: Jokic, Curry, Giannis, definitely, but Joel Embiid and Luka Doncic? Absolutely not. However, with these criteria in place, LeBron can absolutely lead a team to a championship over Luka and Embiid.”
