Former NCAA basketball head coach Dan Dakich joins Doug Gottlieb on The Doug Gottlieb Show to weigh in on WNBA players apparently targeting Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark. He says he defers to his wife’s opinion since she is a championship winning women’s softball coach, and she says she isn’t surprised to see Clark being targeted because women are often try to tear each other down. Dan and Doug both find the targeting of Caitlin Clark to be an obvious illustration of jealousy.

Dan Dakich: “My wife coached for years...and she said, “Look, you gotta understand, women are always going to try to tear other women down in sports. They just do...’ My wife saying what she said to me really hit a chord with me. Women cannot stand to see other women be successful.”

Doug Gottlieb: “Thank you!”

Dan: “And they will try to tear them down in sports!”

Doug: “Thank you, thank you!”
