LOS ANGELES, September 3, 2024  FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Sports Network providing 24/7 live programming, today announced the addition of veteran sports reporter and Emmy Award-winning Spectrum News 1 SoCal Host/Anchor Kelvin Washington to the network’s industry-leading weekday lineup.

Effective Monday, September 16, 2024, Washington will partner with FSR’s Rob Parker to co-host the nationally-syndicated weekday program, “The Odd Couple,” which airs from 7-10 p.m. ET on more than 350 stations nationwide.

As hosts of “The Odd Couple,” Parker and Washington, who has been an FSR contributor for many years, will engage sports fans with dynamic discussion and outspoken opinions as they cover the biggest stories and headlines in sports.

In addition to his new role with FSR, Washington will continue to anchor “Your Morning on Spectrum News 1,” and host pre- and post-game coverage of the Los Angeles Dodgers for SportsNet LA.

“I’m grateful to the folks at FOX Sports Radio for this an incredible opportunity,” said Washington. “I also want to thank Chris Broussard for his blessing. Rob and I have worked together in radio and TV over the years, and I’m confident we’ll continue the impressive legacy that the ‘Odd Couple” has created and make a name for ourselves!”

“Chris has been a tremendous partner, and he will be missed, but I look forward to continuing the tradition of ‘The Odd Couple’ with Kelvin,” said Parker. “I’ve known Kelvin for years and he’s a great fit. This show will continue to be fun and informative! Wake the kids and call the neighbors about this exciting new version of ‘The Odd Couple.’”

“We’ve known and worked with Kelvin for many years, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the FOX Sports Radio family in a full-time capacity,” said Don Martin, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Sports and Scott Shapiro, FOX Sports Radio Senior Vice President of Sports Programming, in a joint statement. “We’re confident Rob and Kelvin will be a powerful, and often hilarious, combination as we continue our mission to deliver the best sports entertainment programming nationwide.”
