Colin Cowherd is concerned with the LA Lakers coaching search and thinks that if the team is considering hiring the best of the worst, they need to skip Frank Vogel and hire Jason Kidd as head coach.
Cowherd states that the fact that Vogel is anywhere near consideration for the coaching position means that the standards of the Lakers search seem limited to finding guys who've been fired a bunch. If that's the case, Lakers ought to consider hiring Jason Kidd. At the very least, there's mutual respect between LeBron James and Kidd, plus he may have a better chance of developing the talents of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball.
