On Friday's "2 Pros and a Cup of Joe," Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington explain how Zach Wilson forcing plays instead of throwing the ball away is an example of young quarterbacks being taught bad habits in order to "Protect The Rating."
Brady Quinn: "Here's one bad habit that is happening right now with young quarterbacks. It's not just happening in the NFL. It's in college football and you see it in high school football to a degree. They don't understand how to throw the football away and move on to the next play. They'll scramble around and they'll run for a 2 or 3 yard loss."
LaVar Arrington: "They're going for them quarterback ratings."
Brady Quinn: "Yes! PTR. Protect. The. Rating."
