Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington think Kansas City is in trouble after their loss to the Chargers and that their reign of dominance is over. It's been so easy to dismiss their struggles and think Patrick Mahomes can get them back on track but maybe it's time to judge him the same way we do Russell Wilson and other top tier QB's.
LaVar Arrington: "Kansas City is in trouble. I think they're going to be a playoff team but I don't know that we can continue the narrative of the reign of dominance that has been so easily lobbed out there and utilized over the last two seasons. I don't know that they are far enough ahead now to be able to say, 'Don't worry about it. This is just a bump in the road. It's early. Kansas City will be dominant again.' I don't know if I see that in this team."
Jonas Knox: "And also, Super Bowl hangovers are a real thing. We sort of dismissed it because we just thought, 'Oh they got Mahomes, they're going to be different.' It feels like they're a long way off from where they were a couple years ago."
Brady Quinn: "Forget about a hangover, it's just tough to get there!..."
