Bill Belichick's Younger Girlfriend Taught Him This Valuable Lesson: Report

Jordon Hudson, the 23-year-old girlfriend of six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick, 72, reportedly made him realize "that there is more in life than just football," a former New England Patriots colleague anonymously confirmed to the U.S. Sun on Tuesday (July 9).

Multiple sources told the outlet that Belichick has been living "the simple life" since dating Hudson.

“This is another shot at youthfulness,” the former colleague said.

Belichick was fired by the Patriots after 24 seasons in January and, when asked by the U.S. Sun about the legendary coach entertaining other coaching gigs, the source suggested that the six-time Super Bowl champion may now be ready to officially retire.

“I don’t know if he is looking to go back to coaching again, I may be wrong, but I think that he is realizing that there is more in life than just football,” the insider claimed.

“I see this going far,” the source added, noting that it's been "refreshing" to see a different side of Belichick, who is famously known to be dry and serious.

Last month, TMZ Sports reported that Hudson and Belichick "been living together for months." Sources close to Belichick and Hudson confirmed that the competitive cheerleader and pageant contestant moved into the former coach's Hingham, Massachusetts, home at the beginning of the year and have "hardly spent any time apart since the move-in."

Photos and video published by the Daily Mail last month showed Belichick and Hudson, along with an unidentified male carrying several items, walking on a dock toward the former New England Patriots coach's boat in Nantucket.

TMZ Sports also shared a photo of Belichick and Hudson's first encounter.

Belichick was seen smiling with Hudson in a selfie taken during the reported flight they shared from the Boston area to Florida in February 2021. The former New England Patriots coach also autographed a textbook for Hudson during their initial meeting, as shown in other photos obtained by TMZ Sports last month.

“Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” Belichick wrote with his signature inside the 'Deductive Logic' textbook, along with the numbers for each of the Super Bowls won by the Patriots during his tenure with the franchise.

Belichick, who was spotted with Hudson in a photo shared on Croatian Chess Grandmaster Alojzije Jankovic earlier this month, has reportedly been linked with her since breaking up with longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday, in September 2023, TMZ Sports reported on June 14. Hudson and Belichick reportedly bonded over a philosophy project she was working on and exchanged contact information after landing, a former cheerleading teammate confirmed to TMZ Sports.

Belichick was spotted at a cheerleading competition, opting to forego the NFL Combine, in National Harbor, Maryland, in March, which he reportedly attended to watch Hudson compete. The 23-year-old was also reportedly spotted with Belichick at former quarterback Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction alongside the legendary coach and several games at Gillette Stadium during the coach's final two seasons in 2022 and 2023.

In March, the pseudonymous gossip outlet Deuxmoi reported that Belichick was spotted on what was described as "clearly a date" with a much younger brunette woman at Contessa Italiana in Boston. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski also made multiple jokes about Belichick dating younger women both on the red carpet of Brady's Hall of Fame speech and at the quarterback's Netflix roast last month.

Belichick is the third-winningest coach in NFL history and one of seven NFL head coaches to have spent more than 20 years with one franchise following George Halas (40) of the Chicago Bears, Curly Lambeau (29) of the Green Bay Packers, Tom Landry (29) of the Dallas Cowboys, Don Shula (26) of the Miami Dolphins, Steven Owen (24) of the New York Giants and Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, all of whom have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
