The biggest selling point for the NBA is obviously it's star players, so when the largest star of them all sits out a game, it instantly becomes less relevant to the overall scope of sports that night in the country. LeBron James will be resting against Russell Westbrook tonight, and he rested a few weeks ago during the team's only trip to Memphis, stirring controversy every step of the way.
One wrinkle to consider in this whole mess, is that tonight is a TNT game. Could LBJ be purposely driving down ratings by sitting out a game that Charles Barkley's network is covering? There is so much about this to break down, luckily we have Colin Cowherd.
