James Dolan, Knicks owner, finally found his fall guy for the Charles Oakley mishandling this week, and has fired one of his most senior members of staff in order to take accountability for the way Oak was treated.
Dolan, who also owns Madison Square Garden, fired Frank Benedetto, the senior vice president for security at the world-famous arena, Friday morning, DNAInfo reported.
Benedetto became security director after a career with the U.S. Secret Service, where he oversaw security for Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush.
This move comes as no shock to those who know how Dolan operates. Now if they could only get the person in charge of those iPhone PR statements to quit...
