So this statement was released by TMZ Sports today, and is in response to stories that broke all morning of a reported agreement between Mayweather and McGregor camps on a fight plan.
First of all, obviously they are not fighting. At least not yet. They will take as long as they possibly can, wring out every last drop of hype imaginable, and drag their feet to the highest possible payday IF this ever happens. It wouldn't be broken by a British newspaper. That I know is a fact.
On the other hand, you have the fading relevance of both stars on the table for a possible reason this fight would take place. Expect one (if not both) to fight someone other than each other one time before this is even a thought.
No story, but worth reporting. The fight is NOT happening at this moment.
