Despite the DeMarcus Cousins trade appearing like one of the bigger NBA trades in recent memory, Colin Cowherd believes it had less to do with ingenuity and more to do with raw desperation.
With Cousins clearly a locker room bugaboo in Sacramento, and the New Orleans Pelicans suffering from the worst TV ratings in the league, Cowherd thinks the trade was simply a way to alleviate clear and present dangers, with X’s and O’s not necessarily at the forefront of a transaction involving two disillusioned bottom feeders.
