Remember when Aaron Hernandez could have become a two-time Super Bowl champion worth $40 million if he just didn’t kill anyone?
Well, the once-NFL star turned convicted murderer, is now back in the limelight with the Patriots almost four years after he was charged with first degree murder.
Hernandez’s defense team issued a witness list that included no other than his former coach Bill Belichick.
‘William Belichick’ or so he’s known in real life, is still not certain to be present in Hernandez’s double-murder trial beginning next week, but he still obviously will have a very realistic shot at being called, with character witnesses often an integral facet of high leverage trials.
Let’s just hope the dreadfully dry and uninterested Belichick won’t show up mean-mugging with a Frankenstein monotone, ‘looking towards next week’.
