When the Golden State Warriors cut ties with Andrew Bogut, they did so in order to clear room for Kevin Durant last summer. They might have still wanted Bogut on the team, but with the financial restrictions, they had to let go their center and longtime anchor on the defensive end.
That seems logical to all of us on the outside, but when you peel back the layers of business that surround the story Andrew Bogut was really upset with how the team handled the situation. So when he was free to choose who he wanted to play for next season, Bogut wanted to make sure he selected the place that gave him the best chance at revenge.
