So there is a new loophole now regarding 'impermissible benefits' being given to top-level recruits in the sport of college basketball, and it involves hiring the parents of the player to the coaching staff to give some extra $ to the family. It is exactly what the University of Washington promised Michael Porter Jr., the BEST PLAYER in the 2017 class, and it resulted in him signing a letter of intent.
Well, the same position was offered to his father at the University of Missouri, and Porter has just filed for his NLI to be released so he can reopen the recruitment process.
