Jurgen Klinsmann did a phenomenal job of putting together a United States roster comprised of the right mix of foreign and domestic talent. That much is indisputable. The likes of Pulisic, Johnson, and even Bobby Wood might now have been integrated into a US side as smoothly without Klinsmann and we thank him for that.
Bruce Arena acknowledges that the roster was compiled, but not necessarily brought together to form a team. That is his job now as the USMNT hits the crucial (and horrifying) portion of the Hex qualification.
