Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports lives in Kentucky and understands the full force of BBN and the way it operates. It came as no surprise to Forde that the fans took to the business of referee John Higgins following their loss to UNC in an attempt to ruin his life, and it actually is closer to true character than it is a small group of loud fans.
The issue with the mentality of Kentucky fans comes down to the fact that the fans don't understand the severity of their actions. It is about time a member of the Kentucky program stepped up, whether it's Calipari or someone else, and put an end to this type of behavior.
