PODCAST LISTENS FOR THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD TOTAL 5.7 MILLION IN MARCH
LOS ANGELES, April X, 2017– FOX Sports Radio is pleased to announce that total podcast listens for The Herd with Colin Cowherd reached 5.7 million across all platforms for the month of March, as measured by ART19. This marks the first time that total podcast listens for the program have surpassed the 5 million mark.
This podcasting milestone expands Cowherd’s already impressive and increasing multiplatform reach. The Herd, which launched in September 2015 on FOX Sports Radio, iHeartRadio and FS1, broadcasts on more than 140 radio stations nationwide and has experienced significant year-over-year growth across multiple demos: +61% with Adults 18-49; +51% with Adults 25-54; +55% with Men 18-49; +54% with Men 25-54. On flagship station AM 570 KLAC in Los Angeles, The Herd is up 22% year-to-year in the key demo of Adults 25-54. On FS1, The Herd has experienced 88% growth year-over-year for the month of March with Persons 2+, while clips of The Herd have drawn nearly 380 million video views since September 2015, with a monthly average of 21 million, via Facebook, YouTube, FOXSports.com, the live-streaming FOX Sports Go app and Twitter video player.
Last Fall, TheHerdNow.com was launched as the digital home for content created and curated by Colin Cowherd, including bold opinion pieces, viral news stories, exclusive podcasts, and original video series. The site, which attracted more than half a million page views in March 2017 – a new record for the site, also serves as a portal for fans to find stories covering the best moments and interviews from Cowherd’s radio show, as well as the daily podcast and streaming audio of “The Herd.”
