It's Not Racist that Kaepernick still isn't Signed

posted by Michael Fowler -

When Colin Kaepernick decided to take a knee during the national anthem, he must have understood that the backlash was going to create a negative cloud around him that keeps teams from signing him to a backup NFL role. If he didn't, he must have been betting his career on a dramatic resurgence last season that simply didn't come.

It makes complete sense that NFL teams are not signing him during this free agency period. With guys like Cutler and Romo moving on to broadcasting roles, it's clear to see that quarterbacks are finding it tougher to get a spot on rosters. That is why when people claim that racism is keeping Kaepernick from a professional roster, they aren't understanding the full scope of the story.

Clay Travis explains in the audio below why Kaepernick just isn't good enough at the moment.
