Jason Smith is a sucker for redemption stories. When this same Mike Brown coached a 60+ win Cavaliers team, equipped with LeBron James 1.0, he was labeled as a coach who could not win with the best talent at his disposal. His teams, overall, got a very bad knock.
Now, while still on the Cavaliers payroll, Mike Brown has the Warriors at 13-0 in the postseason, and en route to possibly becoming one of the all-time great teams. When Steve Kerr stepped down, Mike Brown was able to slot in perfectly with this unit, and could be set for a 'second coming' of NBA coaching life.
