Why would you pay attention to the NBA if you knew who was winning the league beforehand?
In order to preserve the integrity (and entertainment value) of the league, the NBA needs the Cavaliers to put some effort in and get this series evened up. If it goes back to Golden State at 3-1, it's not ideal but at least decent. 2-2 saves the league.
