Jordan Left Nothing in Doubt, That's the Difference

The impact Championships can have on your legacy is obviously something that has been covered in detail since the beginning of time. We don't remember Bill Russell's stats, we know he won 11 rings. No one seems to think Robert Horry was an exceptional player, but the fact that he was a contributor to so many champions has him remembered in one way, as a winner.

It's easy to toss around names like that, but when you think about current players it gets a little more sensitive. Chris Paul might not be remembered as the best point guard of his generation without the validation of a ring. LeBron James might now be facing 3-5 scrutiny when it's 50 years from now. It's all subjective, but important.
