Whenever a scandal breaks like the Louisville basketball one that broke this week, there are flocks of apologists coming out of the woodworks and defending coaches and the NCAA. That's nothing new. To praise the institution and say that coaches aren't responsible for knowing everything about their program has been said before, and applies to certain situations.
But in basketball, with 12 players and a handful of coaches, you should (and probably did) know about strippers being used as a prominent part of your recruiting class. Colin Cowherd reacts:
