Late last week, a Minnesota court acquitted former police officer Jeronimo Yanez of manslaughter in the fatal shooting of black motorist Philando Castile.
Shortly after the news broke, controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick sent out a tweet comparing modern day police officers to runaway slave patrolmen. "A system that perpetually condones the killing of people, without consequence, doesn't need to be revised, it needs to be dismantled!", he wrote.
Many have argued that Kaepernick's anti-law enforcement protest over the past 10 months is the biggest reason why he remains unsigned by NFL teams, but that hasn't stopped the former 49ers quarterback from speaking out.
If there was any doubt before, Clay Travis says that Kaepernick's latest tweet has sealed his fate: Colin Kaepernick will never play quarterback in the NFL ever again.
