The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers have officially swapped first round picks in the upcoming NBA Draft, after a trade involving zero current NBA Players has passed through the NBA league office this morning.
Philadelphia certainly isn't a loser in this trade, as they pair Markelle Fultz with last year's top pick Ben Simmons and start this season with two strong Rookie Of The Year candidates. Boston moved down in the draft, can still take someone that they value highly, and stockpiled, even more, future picks by acquiring the Lakers first round selection next season.
