Tim Tebow is moving on up.
On Sunday afternoon, the New York Mets announced that they are promoting Tim Tebow from low-A ball to St. Lucie of the high-A League. Tebow wasn't exactly tearing the cover off the ball in low-A (he's only batting .222 and he's struck out 69 times in only 212 at-bats), but that probably won't stop him from progressing up the minor league ranks.
Whether or not Tebow is a Major League Baseball talent is irrelevant; his marketability and charisma will be his meal ticket, and Clay Travis is confident that we'll see the Tebow suiting up for the New York Mets at some point this season.
