JT and Looney discuss how LaVar Ball may be responsible for sharing that his son Lonzo suffered a knee injury to prevent a trade from the Lakers and JT says that LaVar can no longer get in the way of his son’s life because LeBron James is now in Los Angeles. JT thinks that Magic Johnson and the Lakers are going to have to make a decision about Lonzo because the organization is looking to win a championship and he doesn’t think Ball will play a role. JT understands that it is a father protecting his son but says that the Lakers are an elite organization and there can’t be any leaks inside that can stop the business plan to upgrade the team.
