The highlight of Week 1 of the college football season was the battle of heavyweights in Las Vegas where USC and LSU clashed in an instant classic with the Trojans winning on a Woody Marks TD run with only 8 seconds left in the game. Dan thinks this kind of win is worth more than a single victory in the ledger and can change the very perception of the team.
Dan Patrick: “USC; that’s a perception win. It’s a victory, but that’s a perception win because I’m watching and I’m going, ‘Man, USC is physical!’ They were a better team than LSU...of all of the teams that had victories this weekend, that one felt like it was a whole lot more than just one win.”
