I put you here, Coach. I’ve been the one over Tom all these years. I’ve been the one pushing the buttons, making the calls.’ You’d think there’s an element of, ‘I’m the owner; I picked YOU.’”

Rob Parker:

“I think it’s the ultimate sign of respect for him to come to me after our breakup and offer me a job when he easily could have just said, ‘I won the divorce, I won the championship afterward. I’m better now, and I can just move on.’ Now, I’m a part owner, and you’re going to college. It’s about me, not about you. For Brady to reach out and say, ‘Bill, we’d love for you to be the coach of the Raiders,’ with a chance to coach on a 3-year contract and a shot at the record.”
