Colin Cowherd: “Dak Prescott reportedly turned down a $30 million contract… Dak wants to BET on himself. Joe Flacco once rolled the dice on himself and knew he needed playoff wins. Dak knows he isn’t a stat monster and isn’t going to be able to say 'look at my passing yards, look at my touchdowns, and look at my passer rating'. Dak is saying he’s going to roll the dice, they’re going to win the division, and they’re going to win at least two playoff games. If he wins two playoff games, he’s going to get the number.” (FULL Audio at Bottom of Page).
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he believes Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott reportedly turned down the Cowboys’ offer of $30 million per year, as according to Jane Slater, Dak is actually searching for FORTY MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR.
Colin says Dak is down on the $30 million because he knows Dallas has the potential to make a Super Bowl run if running back Ezekiel Elliott is on board, and knows the only way he's going to boost his monetary value is from winning playoff games. Colin says Dak realizes he’s never going to be able to compile the type of gaudy passing numbers his wealthy peers have put up considering the run-first look of the Cowboys offense.
Check out the video below as Colin says he thinks Dak should take the $30 million, but details why he believes it’s obvious that Dak is betting himself to make a deep playoff run this year.
